Children from Chernobyl

Every year a party of children come to England from their home where children are still suffering more than 30 years after the disaster.  Local families host the children and their health is improved by breathing our cleaner British air.  Stafford Lions sponsored a magician for their final party and gave them each a gift of a cuddly lion.  They also met and made friends with our Lion.
